Botanical Birthday

I don't know why but I love this paper. Usually I'm not a fan of black backgrounds with bright colors as it screams early 90s which was a dark time in my teenage years lol!  Think In Living Colour, black spandex with neon sides. Yup. Not so much. Lot of frizz. Lot. Of. Frizz.

Anyway...I love flowers. If it comes with a framelit, I'm sold!  This paper coordinates with Cajun craze, Crushed Curry, and Mossy Meadow. And I also love that they now offer the cardstock in a coordinating pack. It makes it so easy!  Grab the Designer Paper, the cardstock pack and a stamp and framelit bundle. And wait, you've earned free Sale a Bration products!  Well thank you very much!  Lol.

I also love the Birthday Blooms stamp set I used here. It's so versatile. Great for birthdays, sympathy, Mother's Day or just because. Here's the full set so you can see it.

So head over to my website and take advantage of this years Sale!  Also this is one of the cards we will be making at my upcoming birthday sampler class!  So if you're local, sign up on my Facebook page!  There are only a couple spots left!  Go to so you don't miss any news!

Going Places Birthday card

I apologize for my long absence. My day job required my full attention for a few months. So new year means new commitment to crafting!  And boy did I ever enjoy my week and a half off work. So I have lots to share with you in the coming weeks!

Sale a bration is just around the corner!  So I have a sneak peek of some goodies from the new Occasions Catalogue to get you excited!

I used the Going Places designer paper pack with the Four Feathers and
Butterfly Basics stamp sets. I love this masculine paper. Manly cards can be difficult to create, but take a cue from our more masculine paper and keep the embellishments to a minimum.

I'll be featuring this card in my upcoming Birthday Sampler class in a couple of weeks. You can rsvp on my Facebook page Rebecca Clark Cottage.

Witchy Hats.

Woo hoo!  I am sorry to say this amazing kit is no longer available, but I wanted to show you as the stamp set still is and you could make this from scratch.

That's some raw footage but we had a great time!  There is nothing better than getting together with friends and making something cool!  Thank you to Lauren for joint me tonight!  I'm missing the leaves still but they are arriving Thursday.

I hope you get out there and create something cool today!

Season of Cheer card

Can you feel the weather changing?  Well, it's getting to Christmas market time so you'll get some fun card ideas!!

Today uses the new paper I just got!  It's called Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper. It's so bright and cheerful!  Forgot to get the coordinating washi tape though!  I'll have to add that to the next order.

If you see anything you like, let me know! I'd love to come teach you and your girlfriends how to make these amazing and yet simple designs!  What a fantastic way to gather friends at Christmas and get a few things checked off your list!  Ask me how!

Last day of 31 Days

Today's layout uses the English Garden paper and the butterfly Thinlets. I love butterflies!  I'm such a sucker for them. I have to get every buttterfly set!  The Chinese believe they bring the spirits of the dead to visit you. I like that in my layouts!  It's about family and preserving memories for future generations.

I was a couple of layouts short but I had to get over being sick and now school is starting so I have to close this challenge. We'll have to try this challenge in July next year. It's quieter work and family wise. I am so glad I did it though. I made some serious headway on my family albums. It felt amazing!  I hope you followed along and have enjoyed the same success that I did.

On that note, check back tomorrow for some Holiday goodness!  The Holiday catalogue launches tomorrow!  Are you as excited as I am?  Sqweeeee!  If you don't have a catalogue yet, let me know and I'll ensure one gets to you!

31 Days of Scrapbooking Days 26 & 27

Well I think I'm on the mend. My poor nose is raw but I can think straight now!  Yay!  I'm hoping that I've got the cold out of the way for the season and I'll be good til christmas!

So let's continue on with the catch up here!

This was supposed to be for throwback Thursday but it didn't make it!  This is the Retro Fresh paper from a couple catalogues ago. I love this colour combo!  Don't forget to grab your stash and get into the stuff you were saving for the perfect layout. Now is the time to get it out!

This was a super fun one to do!  Easy peasy!  The coffee cup stains are the lid of an embellishment case dipped in soft suede. Then I took my blender pen and dipped it in soft suede and went over the lines to soften them a bit. And I grabbed a tool that doesn't get near enough attention, the spritzer.

My challenge for these two days is to grab paper you were saving for something special and do a layout with it!  Then grab a tool you never use and use it!  Rediscover why you loved it!

Good luck guys!  Check in again tomorrow!

31 Days of Scrapbooking days 24 and 25

Catching up today with a double layout.

Loving this Into the Woods paper. I'm almost out already!  Time for a reorder!!

Never be afraid to mix patterns. Just make one look more solid and it's all good!

Looking forward to tomorrow's catalogue party!  Hope you all can make it!!!
